This place is simply the best in Itaewon. There are a lot of pubs and eateries catering to foreigners in the area. However, this place has the most authentic care to their food. You can really taste the difference from the wood grilled food. Also, the staff is extremely, unbelievably friendly. I highly recommend this place as it has a great vibe and ambiance.

Stopped in here with a friend on a recent trip to Korea. Johnnie was extremely an awesome host, talkative and helpful. This is definitely a place I will return to - overall great vibe and experience. The food is great and there is a good selection of drinks. Only opened for a month and looking for ways to keep getting better - samplers we receiv d were ready for primetime. From my visit, this is already a great place. If you are in Yongsan or Itaewan, you must visit Ember.
