Enoteca is basically a restaurant inside a wine shop. The wine selection is excellent. The decor is inviting. The menu is also impressive, and this is the kind of place you need to visit several times to try everything that looks good. The food was good, but not the best Italian I’ve had in Chiang Mai. The Parma and Mellon was excellent. The risotto was al dente but nothing special, but the beef was a bit disappointing. Also, they do not have any gluten-free pizza/pasta, although there are some GF items on the menu. My general impression was that our appetizers were better than our mains. Maybe just order apps and wine next time? Service was good in general, but I was not happy that the mains came out in a staggered fashion. Three of our party of five got their dishes together, but two of us had to wait about five to ten more minutes for our risotto. The kitchen timing needs to be better. That said, this is a place that I will visit again, to explore their wine collection, if nothing else!
