Tried Eomma Jipbap Korean Restaurant at Gantral Mall today and had a good experience. The area was quite lively with good footfall and many shops around. We ordered the Mother’s Day set and felt the restaurant has really improved from previous visits. Portions were generous, food quality was good and the meal felt value for money. Really enjoyed the Beef Stew, crispy Seafood Pancake and tender Beef Bulgogi. Nice touch with the Korean anchovies side dish too. Overall, a satisfying Korean meal with good sharing portions and suitable for family gatherings. Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is definitely not authentic Korean cuisine. The spicy pork belly was overly salty, and the samgyetang lacked the distinctive ginseng flavor that is characteristic of the dish. In fact, the soup was already excessively salty even before adding the extra seasoning provided. Anyone who has tasted authentic versions of these dishes will immediately notice the difference. The food quality is comparable to what you might find at a typical hawker centre rather than a proper Korean restaurant. Given the standard of the food, the prices are unreasonably high and do not offer good value for money. Overall, a disappointing experience and not worth the cost. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40

The food was delicious and tasted authentically Korean. We ordered the spicy chicken cold noodles and spicy pork, both of which were excellent. The lettuce was incredibly fresh, and they were very generous with the sauce. The portion of pork was especially plentiful, making the meal even more satisfying. There’s no GST and service charge at the time of this review. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian set.
