We ate at Epicurean to celebrate Mother’s Day. We ordered the calamari, and it was really good paired with the spicy mayo. The Epicurean Truffle Cheese Steak was the bomb. The amount of cheese and truffle was incredibly generous, and you could tell the truffle was authentic. This dish is definitely a must-try. The steak was perfectly cooked and tender. We also ordered the Gnocchi Al Tartufo, and it was perfectly cooked with a soft bite. The truffle tasted authentic, and you could tell the chef wasn’t stingy with it at all. The Nero risotto was good too. The flavour was a hit. The Butter Chicken Pasta was delicious and cooked al dente. Even though it was creamy, the spiciness gave it a nice kick and the flavours were very balanced. The lamb shank was soft and tender, and I personally loved the meat. It was cooked to perfection. I think I would have enjoyed it more without the sauce, as it tasted a little sour for my personal preference. I would definitely come back to try the other mains and starters. What made the experience even more amazing was that the chef was working alone, yet everything was prepared perfectly and served in a timely manner. The wait wasn’t long at all unless you’re extremely fussy or impatient. I would highly recommend this place for its great fusion food. Not forgetting, the staff were helpful and always available too. The place was quiet and pleasant. I’m glad I managed to make my mom happy because she couldn’t stop talking about the food and already wishes to come back again. Great job! Ordered beef wellington, tandoori chicken pizza, Gnocchi al Tartufo pizza, tiramisu and 2 drinks. Super amazing food esp tandoori chicken pizza. Chef single-handedly cooked and managed the kitchen alone without any help. Food didn’t took that long to arrive also. Super impressive and highly recommended. The plan was for a taco lunch and that is when I noticed Epicurean Fusion Restaurant. I immediately recalled some postings of them on IG and after browsing the menu, we decided to give them a try and it was the best decision as we enjoyed their food from start to end! For appetiser, we ordered Devilled Prawns. It was love at 1st bite..prawns was juicy and the sauce is so flavourful. Love the spice level! For mains, we ordered Salmon Wellington and Squid ink spaghetti in spicy beef sauce with prawns and scallops. The sauce for the pasta is slightly similar with the Devilled Prawns as both are tomato based but the pasta sauce flavour is much lighter. Salmon was cooked perfectly, soft and juicy coated with nice pesto and well baked puff pastry, paired with dill cream sauce. Overall, we are satisfied with the quality of food and pricing. Staff are generally friendly and attentive. From our observation, there seems to be only 1 chef on duty so be prepared to wait. Average waiting time is approximately 10-15 mins (slightly longer for the salmon) in between dishes. In our opinion,this is a fair waiting time especially when the food is this good!
