Nestled along cheerful shophouses on Neil Road, Epiphyte was relatively easy to find. Beware of road diversions due to the new MRT construction though, just follow the signs. Downstairs, its a cool dining restaurant with good vibes for group gatherings. Upstairs its bar-slash-art-gallery - the disco lighting completes the loungey and eclectic look. The highlights at the bar has to be the wacky and yummy concoctions - after a few cocktails you feel like you've gone through half of the Singapore Botanical Gardens and the Floating Vegetable Market of Bangkok. Many type of on trend poisons of choice are available and some classics too. Friendly responsive staff. Overall a great place to just relax, enjoy a drink with friends, away from the hustle and bustle of nearby Chinatown and Tanjong Pagar.
