Had a great weekend breakfast here at Ernie's a while back. Found this place on Google and decided to try it out, and had absolutely no regrets. I tried a latte with distinct muskmelon notes, and even weeks later, can still remember the exact taste. It must have been one of the best coffees I've had in my life. However, the food does take a while to arrive, and there are only maybe 3 seats indoors and another 2 to 4 seats outdoors, which is extremely hot, so it's more suited for a takeaway experience. We were lucky enough to get seats, but maybe it's best not to arrive with an expectation to dine in. Regardless, it's a fantastic new addition to the Queenstown neighbourhood, and I'll definitely be back again. The owner is really friendly as well, and I love the experience overall. I also had a good time browsing the small bookshelf, which had a very good selection of reads. :) Meal type: Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

First visit here. Tried the signature Hugs 3.0 hot latte with oat milk. Very smooth latte; rosemary and thyme balance was just right! Totally enjoyed it! Would definitely come back again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

April 2026 Haven't been able to step into Ernie's for a long while. Really missed their coffee. Finally when I made it, ordered my fav Oat Milk Cappuccino - so smooth and fragrant - like meeting an friend once again. Zeeks, the lady boss has expanded her repertoire of bakes from just babana bread to orange pound, choc cookies and many more. Ernie's also has a package meal of drink and bake. Cam, the smiley boss, came up with an innovative idea for the overwhelming Sunday crowd from the church across the road. If u see the test tubes containing beans carefully weighed for each cup, you can guess his previous industry. It has sped up his coffee 'production' and make customers happy. Library corner The good-hearted cafe owners have also set up a free library for the public but primarily for the residents of the rental flat they are based in. Books come and go proving the success of the literacy outreach. I noticed some toys too. Bravo, Zeeks and Cam for the good work and even better coffee for the neighborhood. Keep calm and keep brewing Jan 2026 I've been many times since that 1st coffee and have brought quite a few of my artist friends. The coffee has been consistently yummy and the company of the young couple is always warm and friendly. They have started to give back to the community by expanding their tiny library in front of their shop to 2 full shelves of books with little stools for readers to sit and browse. The library has also moved to the lift lobby area for the kids in this one-room rental block to take and read. It speaks of the good hearts of Cam and Zeeks to reach out to the community within the short time they have been here. I'm happy to say I've become a regular. So thankful Ernie's coffee is so delicious and even better are the lively conversations with the boss couple. Looking forward to a long and happy coffee relationship.
