お洒落系フードコート 大きくはないがスペースは十分で、エアコンの効いた屋内と店外のテラス席がある。 2024年12月現在、イタリアン、ベトナム、インド、中華、ハンバーガー、タイの屋台とアルコールドリンク豊富なドリンク屋台が入っている。 どれも十分に美味しく、酒のつまみとしても合い、一人でもグループでも楽しめる。 奥にあります。 トイレットペーパーは個室外に備え付けてありますので、必要な分だけ取って個室に入りましょう。. Order type: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20

I recently visited Essen @ The Pinnacle, and it was such a pleasant surprise! At first glance it looks like a modern, upgraded food court, but the quality here feels a lot more elevated than your usual kopitiam. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between laid-back and stylish — with both indoor and al-fresco seating that’s great for casual lunches, dinner with friends, or even just drinks after work.  What really stood out to me was the variety of food on offer. Instead of being tied to just one cuisine, Essen brings together several stalls under one roof — from Western burgers and pizzas to hearty Asian and fusion dishes — so everyone in the group can find something they’ll enjoy. Each stall feels like its own little kitchen, and many of the dishes we tried were genuinely tasty and well-executed.  Despite being a collective space, the ambience didn’t feel chaotic or noisy; in fact, it felt thoughtfully put together, kind of like a convivial neighbourhood hangout rather than your typical food court. The staff were friendly too, and the price point (about $$ per person) makes it easy to come back often without feeling like you’re overspending.  Overall, Essen is a great place to gather with friends, enjoy a surprisingly good range of food, and soak in a warm, welcoming vibe — definitely worth a visit if you’re around Tanjong Pagar or Outram Park.
