Tucked away in the heart of the city, EverShine Cafe offers a quiet escape with a small outdoor patio at the back—a nice surprise in such a central location. The coffee was good, but unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to expectations. The breakfast croissant with salmon was disappointingly dry, and the croissant itself didn’t taste freshly baked. Adding to that, being charged HKD 4 to switch from regular to skimmed milk felt unnecessary, especially considering the cost of the milk itself is about the same. Overall, a very average experience. With so many great cafés in the area, I’m not sure I’d return anytime soon. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $50–100
