I visited Orange Shabu for the first time during a company team dinner, and I absolutely loved it! After hearing the staff’s recommendation for the Sukiyaki with Tsukimi, I was immediately sold and decided to order it with Kuroge Wagyu Chuck. Throughout the meal, the staff handled almost all of the cooking and serving. They first sautéed onions, which were later wrapped with the beef slices for an extra layer of flavor. They even helped remove the kernels from the corn, which was a thoughtful touch. The Sukiyaki with Tsukimi also came with a small amount of caviar and sea urchin, which was surprisingly delicious. The Kuroge Wagyu Chuck slices were huge and beautifully marbled. I would recommend not overcooking them, as they could become a bit tough. I loved every item on the vegetable platter. The sweet potatoes, corn, and tofu puffs all tasted incredibly fresh. We also got to enjoy both the stir-fried udon and the rice porridge at the end of the meal. Even though we were already stuffed, the meal was so satisfying that we couldn’t resist finishing them. The staff were friendly, professional, enthusiastic, and genuinely enjoyable to chat with throughout the evening. I would definitely come back again—next time to try their hot pot.
