Here’s my experience for the 1st time dining at Fat Boy Tavern Korat. My family of 5 with 3 young kids (8, 3, & a 22 month) had an enjoyable dinner with good food, service, music, and atmosphere. We’re vacationing in Thailand to visit family and friends and this restaurant was recommended by my wife’s friends that dined here. We dined here on a Tuesday night for dinner which it wasn’t crowded, and we had a great time. We sat right in front of the live band that provided good music that entertained my young kids, the food we ordered was good and tasty and one of the main dishes my wife ordered was their spaghetti my kids liked, and I feel what we ordered (5 different dishes and a jug of Singha beer me and the wife shared) was inexpensive compared to what it would cost us in the US. This would have been an easy $75+ USD, instead we paid only $44 USD for good food, music, and service. Would I recommend this place to others? Sure, for their own experience and good food. Hopefully it’s the same or better of what we experienced. We’d definitely return, but it would be nice if it could be a couple's night out just me and the wife...LOL! I can only imagine what it’s like during a busy night on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday night.
