Solid plates of cantonese roast meats Tried the HK style charsiu (leaner cut), goose, and maotai (braised chicken) Was blown away by the maotai chicken. So juicy, tender and an unmistakably unique aroma ans zing that I presume comes from the maotai Lines are out the door before opening, so be prepared to queue! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $150–200

Fat J Char Siu. Recommended by a friend, we tried this popular Hongkong style bbq meat restaurant. We arrived there about 30 minutes before the opening hour and had already seen saw the waiting line. We ordered honey glazed charsiu, pork belly charsiu and maotai chicken. I think pork belly charsiu and maotai chicken were exceptional (4.8 stars) while the honey glazed was nice but not very special (4.3 star). Service was fairly standard (no complaint). All in all, this is a 4.7/5.0 stars rated. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

queued for 30mins, food comes fast. char siu was flavourful. soy chicken was almost cold with little flavour. i paid extra for chicken breast and still wasn’t worth it. portions are okay, meat juices didn’t really marinate rice enough. for $82 it was okay but i wouldn’t return :/ Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $100–150 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
