Hi Jaxson, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and we are truly sorry that a visit as a regular ended this way. When someone chooses to come back to us again and again, that trust is genuinely something we do not take lightly, and reading that this visit may be your last is difficult to sit with. You are also right about the heart of the issue. This was not really about the waffle, it was about how we handled the mistake once it happened. Leaving your friend without her dish while everyone else finished eating, telling you it was almost ready when it had actually failed and needed to be remade, and then offering a 10-baht adjustment that felt symbolic rather than sincere, these are all fair points, and we own each of them. Empathy, honest communication, and a genuine effort to make things right is exactly the standard we want to hold ourselves to, and on this visit we did not meet it. This is being addressed internally, both on the kitchen side around how failed dishes are communicated in real time, and on the service side around how we handle recovery when we drop the ball. We would very much value the chance to speak with you directly and, if you are open to it, welcome you back one day to make things right. Please feel free to reach out to me at [email protected].
