The fact there’s a place that serves focaccia impressed me a lot. Unfortunately that’s where the positive experience largely ends. You see everything on display, but it’s unclear as to how to order. When you realise there’s a counter to place your order, but no one is coming to take your order, makes it more confusing. When someone eventually arrives, the counter is far from the selection of foods, so you either have to know exactly what you want, or wander along the display cabinets to find something you want. Not a good layout. There’s a minimum charge for using their tables and chairs, of which there aren’t many to begin with. The food we ordered (along with drinks we didn’t want but had to order so we could use their dining section) were tasty, so that’s a plus, but I ordered a coffee, and wondered why there was no sugar with it. I asked for sugar and was flatly told “we don’t have any”. Sorry, but what coffee shop doesn’t have sugar for those they prefer it??? That alone was enough to put me off coming here again. PS - I deliberately left the plates and my coffee. Why would I be asked to clean up myself after paying for the “privilege” of eating there? Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $200–400 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
