Stumbled upon this cafe on our walk around Far East and I'm glad we discovered the place! Fan's cafe has a cozy feel and offers very authentic shiopan/matcha - the boss mentioned she learnt to bake them from her time working in Japan! We could really appreciate the added flavour from the fermentation process of their dough (japanese flour) and were pleasantly surprised when our lips were not coated in oil after our 1st bite! The ladyboss strongly believes in the idea of shiopan being a healthier option to traditional croissants and their shiopans remain crispy and fluffy despite that! Cosy little shop at Far East Plaza. Serves really nice Shio pans run by a lovely lady. I got a chocolate banana drink and a black sesame Shio pan. Went back to buy some more :) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Buttery Shio Pan freshly out of the oven with long black coffee ($8)! Note there are limited seats so really this is not the place for laptops or office talk. Just order the shio pan or coffee or matcha to take away might be best Meal type: Brunch Price per person: SGD 1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
