Located on the main street near Chaweng Noi Beach, Faria Halal Food is a great spot for anyone looking for hygienic and delicious halal options in Koh Samui. While there are quite a few halal places on the island, this one stands out for its homely atmosphere and authentic touch. It’s run by a Thai Muslim family who handle everything themselves—from cooking to serving—which adds a warm, personal feel to the experience. We tried the beef soup, which came with three large chunks of tender bone-in beef in a rich, flavorful broth, topped with local spices and herbs—perfectly paired with sticky rice. We also had fried fish with flavored rice, and it was equally satisfying. The addition of four different sauces really elevated the flavors and gave the meal an extra kick. The overall experience was excellent. A special mention to the manager, Hafeez, who was incredibly humble and helpful throughout our visit. Highly recommended for a comforting and authentic halal dining experience in Koh Samui.
