Easily the most stunning place to watch the sunset in Chiang mai. Well maintained animals, lovely for kids to play and a great selection of Thai and western food. We came already 5 times and will come again. The bad reviews are outdated in my opinion. We love it! Price per person: ฿400–600 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

1 star, only because I cannot give 0 overall. The experience was extremely uncomfortable, starting from intolerable geese around the dining area to what was easily the worst rib eye steak I have had in the many years I’ve lived in Chiang Mai. To be fair: the rest of my family enjoyed the Thai food, and the atmosphere itself is acceptable—if you ignore the geese and the pasty, smooshy crab fried rice. The staff: the entire service felt bland and disengaged. It felt like the staff didn’t enjoy what they were doing at all. There was a clear lack of smiles, warmth, or friendliness, which only added to the uncomfortable experience. The worst part by far: the steak. I ordered a medium rib eye steak. What arrived was completely overcooked. The steak shown in the menu picture looks entirely different, so I asked the manager if what I received was cooked like the picture. I was told that the steak shown in the picture was an uncut steak. However, the steak arrived already cut into three pieces—and it was well done, extremely hard, chewy, and dry. At no point does the menu picture show a mushroom sauce, yet the steak was completely bathed in it. There was no rosemary, no butter—nothing resembling what was advertised. It was served with soggy French fries, and no ketchup (which doesn’t bother me much). What did matter is that the steak lacked even basic salt and pepper. Yes, I did attempt to eat it. I sent the steak back. When it returned, it was somehow worse. It appeared to be the same steak, now with slashes cut into the surface, as if to pretend it was new. A bit of rosemary was added on top, but it was clearly not a new steak. I did not eat the steak at all, nor the meal. I still paid my 3,000 THB bill and left quietly. If you cannot cook a good steak, please don’t claim that you can. What was served did not even remotely resemble the picture shown on your menu. Completely disappointed.
