This café was actually one of my “must-visit” spots when I was planning my road trip from **Khao Kho** to **Nan**. I had it pinned way before the trip even started, so expectations were definitely there. Parking inside the café compound was full when we arrived at around 2pm, but no big deal — we just parked along the highway roadside and it was fine. That said, the roadside signboard could really be bigger. It’s easy to miss if you’re driving past. The surrounding area could also use a bit more beautifying to match the vibe they’re probably going for. We waited about 15–20 minutes for a table, which is understandable if they’re busy. After ordering, though, the drinks took quite a while. It got to the point where I walked over to the fridge, grabbed our drinks myself, and informed the staff. That part felt a little disorganized. Food timing was more reasonable — not fast, not slow. Now the important part — the food. The salmon rice was seriously good. The skin was perfectly crispy, and that contrast with the tender salmon? Solid. The crab fried rice with chili was another highlight — flavorful, aromatic, and satisfying without being overly heavy. The beef shabu was decent, nothing mind-blowing, but the soup had that comforting, home-style warmth that just works after a long drive. Honestly, food-wise, this place deserves 5 stars. The flavors delivered. But because of the slightly chaotic service and long drink wait, I’m giving it 4 stars instead. Would I still recommend it on the way to Nan? Yes.
