The espresso drinks are expertly crafted by the owner who is surprisingly only 25 years old! She also bakes the pastries offered at the shop.
Normally at an average coffee shop I have to ask for my espresso drink to be made “not too hot”. What most people don’t understand is that when your milk is scalded it turns bitter. I knew I found my spot when I placed my order and the owner said, “oh I never heat up the coffee too much because it ruins the flavor”.
This coffee shop also offers and iced drip coffee. Most places use hot water to extract the beans. And iced water drip coffee creates a drink that is less better, with less caffeine, and easier on the stomach.
This place is a must try for people serious about coffee.
Beitou MRT station 3 minutes.
