I discovered Fig Coffee in 2022 when I noticed two people sitting in the window enjoying a brownie. Brownies are my favorite food group and I hadn't found a good one yet in South Korea. The interesting thing about Fig Coffee is that I passed it twice a day getting to and from my office, but I didn't know they sold food until I saw people eating a brownie inside. It's a very small space in a back street, so most customers take their orders out. They have a kiosk for ordering, so brush up on your Korean before coming, or just know that the Korean word for brownie is "beu-ra-oo-ni" and if you look confused they will help you. This is the best brownie in South Korea, and I have tried enough to say that with confidence. One day I told the owner he had the best brownie in the country and he said "I know". Lol. Unfortunately, Starbucks is opening soon on the corner of this little backstreet and I worry about Fig Coffee. Please go and give this little business your support . Their coffee is great too, and I hear they have a BLT sandwich, which is also really hard to find in Korea. You can go to Starbucks on weekends when Fig Coffee isn't open. But be warned, Starbucks in Korea has zero brownies! Meal type: Other Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
