We always celebrate my dad's birthday at First Culinary Restaurant, and it never disappoints. As usual, we ordered our favourite Peking duck. This time, instead of having the duck meat cooked with Ee Fu noodles, we simply asked for the meat to be sliced and served separately. To our surprise, it turned out to be even better! The meat was juicy, tender, and not rough at all. We enjoyed it so much that we finished the entire duck. Another must-order for us is the crispy prawns with passion fruit sauce. It's a delicious and kid-friendly dish that everyone in the family loves. The restaurant also offers monthly promotions on selected dishes, which is always a nice bonus. This visit, we tried the braised shark's fin soup served in a stone pot, and it was rich and flavourful. I had also pre-ordered 10 longevity buns for my dad's birthday. To our delight, they were presented beautifully on a blossom tree display, accompanied by Shou Xing Gong and Shou Xing Po decorations. It was such a thoughtful touch and really made the celebration extra special, especially for my dad. Thank you to the team for making another birthday celebration a memorable one.
