Came here for a weekend lunch and surprised that there was no waiting time. Food is great and fresh, price is reasonable. $13 for a salmon maki, $12 for salmon mentaiyaki. Chirashi don is reasonably priced as well. Many variants of sake to choose from. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SGD 10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

First time dining at Fish Mart Sakuraya. The food quality here was good, but can be a tiny bit saltier. Quality and freshness is definitely there, especially like the Chirashi Don and Mentaiko Salmon. Everything feels alright, however just feel a bit short of the 5* rating. Will still return if I need a quick Jap meal fix and for the Mentaiko Salmon. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Good food and fresh selection. I like the choose your own fish for sashimi or method of cooking. Food is decent and comparable to the other Japanese food chains. Crowd can gather fast, they do have quite a good space for seating and although staff are very busy, they will serve you once you get their attention. Only negative feedback is the air-conditioning and circulation. It was quite hot inside the eating area, be good if there was a big fan or fans during that peak hr.
