Food here is still AMAZING after being around for a long time. Everything’s fresh and consistently cooked. I wish the service was a little faster. That’s my only comment. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Came here before 5pm and requested to sit at the outdoor area. There wasn’t a single other customer at the outdoor area except for us. We brought our dog in a pram with us and left him along the outdoor public walkway of Waterway Point outside of the restaurant area. Which we have done previously too. However the Filipino male staff very rudely told us that if we were together with our dog who was outside of the restaurant area then we would not be allowed to dine there as well. I questioned him why was that so when my dog in pram was not even inside nor within the compounds of their restaurant and we had also dined there in such a manner previously, he blamed it on a Muslim customer who had complained about such a situation previously. I have great respect for my fellow Muslim counterparts and also respect that this may be a Halal and Muslim-friendly restaurant, however, how does my dog sitting in a pram along the public outdoor walkway of Waterway Point go against any of that? When I asked if Fish & Co also owned the public outdoor walkway and if that area belonged to their restaurant the staff’s response was “No, but it’s just not allowed”. I couldn’t get any reasonable explanation as to why we could not dine there and why my dog was not allowed to be in the public outdoor walkway of Waterway Point where all other dogs and dog owners are walking by freely. Moreover there wasn’t a single other customer except us at the outdoor area at 4+pm on Monday. It was totally ridiculous and I felt extremely discriminated against. I reccomend Fish & Co’s management to seriously look into the foreign staff that they recruit from overseas and perhaps give them adequate training into our local culture and also service culture so as to prevent racial disharmony before employing them. The discrimination and rudeness I experienced from this Filipino male staff left me with a really lousy feeling and I will never patronise Fish & Co. ever again and certainly do not recommend anyone else to do so as well as their standards have clearly fallen way below expectation. If Fish & Co. continues like this I suppose they will close down at Waterway Point really soon also, considering they turn down customers for no logical reason when there is no other customer dining outside anyways.
