The bread arrives lightly toasted and buttered—crisp-edged yet soft, but not greasy. Inside, a slick of salsa verde brings bright, herby tang, but the star is the tripe: simmered in clear broth until impossibly tender, juicy, and succulent, with none of the chewiness that haunts lesser versions. It’s modest in size but generous in flavour—a perfect, unfussy bite of Florentine soul on Caine Road. Cosy, fast, and deeply satisfying. Go for the bun, stay for the bench. The service was poor, and the guy didn't smile at all. It was uncomfortable to look at him while waiting for our takeout. I would rather eat my pasta at a local cha chaan teng. They have better pasta than this place. (Hi Owner... it wasn't you who served us; I just hope you have better staff. They are the ones who let me down, not you. Oh, have someone you trust try it when you are not around. Yes, I dare. Just want your place to have a better experience when you are not there.)
