asked the older waitress named Grace hia ccb to make my dish less spicy — a very simple request — but she completely ignored me. The whole place also had a strange, unpleasant smell from her ccb that didn’t help the experience. That said, I’ll give credit where it’s due: the tom yum was actually quite decent. Flying Pig Thai Restaurant Review I really enjoyed the Thai vibes here—complete with Thai music in the background and warm service from Thai staff that added to the authenticity of my experience. I ordered the Thai Fried Basil Chicken with rice. Though it’s a simple dish, it was incredibly satisfying and carried that unmistakable authentic Thai flavor. The rice was cooked to perfection—fluffy yet firm—and was a delight to eat on its own. The only slight letdown was the sunny-side-up egg, which wasn’t as gooey as I’d hoped. If it had been made with a duck egg, it would have been the perfect finishing touch to an already excellent dish. Overall, this was one of the best Thai Fried Basil Chicken meals I’ve ever had, and I’m definitely looking forward to coming back to explore more items on their menu. Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian options: Plenty of options to choose from.
