I went to the Malaysian theme buffet and expected aroma of spices to be intense and authentic. But it lacks the kick. I am not sure if Malaysian cuisine taste all the same? Although each counter places the name of a different state, eating through all the food left me with only one thought. CURRY! And if I use curry as a guage, the aunty stall in Geylang Serai selling Nasi Padang offers more variety in terms of taste. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $60–70

We have a great time to celebrate my husband surprise 50th Birthday in Food Capital restaurant. Thank you Food Capital team for the great services and special arrangement to make this day so special for him. Especially thanks to the manager Yan (not sure how to spell his name) . He is so nice to arrange a quiet corner of 12 tables with nice window view. And also provide a complimentary 500 grams of beautiful designed chocolate birthday cake. We really enjoyed the freshness n variety of the food , the nice ambience and atmosphere and most importantly the superb customer service provide by the restaurant team members !! Will surely be back again !! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
