29May at around 8.30pm,The hijab lady staff at the western stall was rude to my elderly mom. My mom asked for an extra plate, at first the lady gave her a small bowl instead. My mom said no, she wanted a plate. Then the lady replied in Malay, “No, I want to use it.” My mom then said that there were a lot of plates behind her. An argument started, but then a Chinese male staff overheard my mom, spoke to her nicely, and gave her the plate, even helping to wipe it dry. Thank you for being helpful . Hopefully there is a change in treating customers well and not be rude, the food is already expensive and the taste is average , at least have a pleasant service. Final Review. We discovered the delicious Mee Rebus and Mee Soto from a new stall that has opened at a strategic location in Century Square, which originated at Adam Food Centre. Five-star ratings! Selamat Datang Warong Pak Sapari. Century Square. The Food Market #03-19, Singapore 529509. Muslim-owned business Background:. We learned that this stall originated at Adam Food Centre, just across the road from the Botanical Garden (the nearest MRT station is Botanical Garden), serving specialty dishes of Mee Soto and Mee Rebus. This stall is renowned for its delectable Muslim dishes. The MICHELIN Guide BIB Gourmand Singapore recognized the best Mee Soto and Mee Rebus from Warong Pak Sapari for three consecutive years, from 2023 to 2025. They have now opened a new outlet at Century Square in Tampines, where we are staying. We heard many positive reviews from customers and decided to try it out for our family lunch today. “Sedap hingga tak terkata!” (Translation: Unbelievably delicious!) Both Mee Soto and Mee Rebus are delightful and tasty . Mee Rebus (Boiled Noodles) and Mee Soto Ayam (Chicken Soto Boiled Noodles) with Super Sambal! – Eat Kakis at Century Square, Tampines! Mee Rebus and Soto Ayam are popular noodle dishes in our local community, but they differ in their sauces. Mee Rebus is served with yellow noodles in a thick, sweet, and savory sauce made from sweet potatoes, shrimp, and spices, topped with tofu, egg, and lime. Meanwhile, Soto Ayam is a spicy and fragrant chicken noodle soup served with yellow noodles, shredded chicken, bean sprouts, and sambal. Overall, the best Mee Soto and Mee Rebus we have ever had can be found at another famous Malay stall located at Bedok Interchange Hawker Centre. They are so popular that you need to line up for your order. The price is reasonable, and the staff are friendly and approachable. Come and try this delicious meal for yourself. You'll enjoy a satisfying meal and leave with a full stomach. Bon appétit! “Jom, Jalan Jalan Cari Makan”which translates in English “Let's go for a walk to find food”.
