Fortune Cookie is a great choice for Chinese food with an American influence. They offer both larger portions or combination meals. I chose a Fortune Combo Starter + Main + Side meal (which is a more modest portion but gives you a chance to experience more items and flavors). I had the sweet and sour chicken paired with egg fried rice and pork and spring onion dumplings. I also added egg drop soup. The sweet and sour chicken had great flavor and was not too sweet. The egg fried rice was very delicate and the flavor was a really good balance for the stronger sweet and sour chicken. The pork and spring onion dumplings were very flavorful and delicious. There was a sauce beside it that was unused by me because it was so good on its own. The egg drop soup is a bit different for me (although not in a bad way - it's a little different from what I usually see in the US). It has an onion flavor profile. It appears to be made with both green onions and spring onions. I have not seen this before. Egg drop soup is normally very bland, so this addition creates a more flavorful soup, but if you don't like onions you may want to pick something else. I don't mind it, so it was a good choice for me. The restaurant has a very casual atmosphere that let's you enjoy your meal without feeling uncomfortable. The staff was very attentive and made the whole experience very enjoyable. If you are looking for a delicious casual Chinese meal in the Thonglor area, Fortune Cookie is a great choice. I enjoyed dining here. The staff were friendly and attentive, the portions were big, and the takeaway packaging was nice and neat. Good quality food at a great value. highly recommended! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ฿200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
