I came and stayed at this hotel for a family trip. The hotel is surrounded by an industrial area, but it is still a comfortable and quiet place to stay. The hotel staff are very helpful and polite, which made our stay pleasant. The food facilities are very nice and convenient. The room toilet has a bidet, and the shower room comes with a bathtub, which is very comfortable. Mineral water is provided for bathtub , and the shower products are good quality. The shampoo and conditioner made my hair feel soft, and the water felt smooth on the skin. Toothbrushes are not provided, but they can be purchased from the vending machine on the first floor. Breakfast is well organized and nicely categorized into sections, including pastries, noodles, dim sum, and fresh fruits. Overall, it is a good hotel for a family stay and offers nice facilities and services. Service: 5

We’ve checked in to several Marriott hotels before but this is by far the least we’ve enjoyed. The rooms are clean and nice but they lack some amenities like toothbrushes and pajamas. And we always have to ask for another bath towel. I don’t know why they always give us 3 bath towels when there are 4 guests in the room. The water leaks to the powder room when someone takes a shower. We asked them to fix it. They tried but still the water leaks. They could have tested it first instead of waiting for us to complain again. But the front desk did their best to find us another room to move into. The water still leaks from the shower room but it was not as bad as the previous one. We appreciate the gesture but we were so tired and yet had to pack to move into another room in the middle of the night. And because we were tired and sleepy, we forgot some of our stuff in the previous room. We searched for it the next day and had to call front desk to retrieve them. We got it on the 2nd day after moving to the 2nd room. It should have been delivered to us automatically since we have not checked out yet. We tried the buffet breakfast. The food was not bad but was just OK. The minibar was great. They always refill it after cleaning up the room. We also tried swimming in the pool. It was the coldest pool we plunged in to. The water’s temperature was 16 degrees Celsius. We could have enjoyed it if it was heated. The location was a little far from the major tourist spots. So we had to spend a lot of money hailing uber rides. The hotel staff were polite and friendly but not all of the front desk staff could speak English. It’s a beautiful hotel and a very clean one at that but there’s certainly a lot of room for improvement. Service: 4

I recently stayed at Four Points by Sheraton Taipei Bali to celebrate my wedding anniversary, and I have mixed feelings about the experience. On the positive side, the property itself is truly impressive. The building, rooms, and common areas reflect high-quality design and materials everything feels solid and well-maintained. The highlight for me was the private onsen-style hot spring in our room. It was spacious, wonderfully warm, and made for a very relaxing soak after a day of exploring. The hotel’s location in the heart of Bali’s core district is another plus. We enjoyed peaceful evening walks around the neighborhood, soaking in that genuine vacation vibe. Breakfast didn’t offer anything extraordinary, but the dining room is vast and comfortable. One detail that stood out was the foreign chef at the live cooking station—he spoke very little Chinese, which made communication a bit awkward for some guests. It might be better to either assign someone more fluent in Chinese to that role or encourage using English when needed. However, despite the beautiful “hardware,” the hotel fell short on warmth and personal touch. I emailed ahead to mention our anniversary, hoping to receive a small acknowledgment or gesture. Unfortunately, I never received a reply. Later, I requested a late checkout during check-in, but this was declined due to full bookings the next day. During housekeeping, they discovered a lighter in our room and promptly took it away—but nobody followed up or explained what happened to it. When I brought these concerns to the front desk, the staff kindly offered complimentary snacks, freshly baked breads, and drinks at the café as an apology. The bread from the café was surprisingly delicious—it helped lift our spirits and softened some of the disappointment we felt. In summary, Four Points by Sheraton Taipei Bali impresses with its facilities and location, and the in-room hot spring is a true delight. But if you’re looking for genuine warmth and attentive service—especially for a special occasion—you might find it lacking.
