My children’s favourite egg fried rice is from here. One loves the mala egg fried rice and especially with the grilled scallops, but sometimes she finds it too spicy. Both loves the normal egg fried rice. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Chanced upon this dish when I overheard someone ordering it, while I was queuing at the drinks stall next to this stall. The plain egg fried rice ($4) is neither on the menu nor on the signboard. However, they do sell it when you order it over the counter. I decided to try it for dinner today (2 Aug 2025). The egg fried rice was fragrant and not oily, with the egg thoroughly and evenly distributed throughout the rice. Being a chilli lover, the dry sambal chilli made it even more appetizing. The portion was filling enough for dinner. A good choice if you would like a lighter meal without the chicken chop/cutlet, braised beef or crab. Pleasantly surprised by how good the fried rice tasted. Ordered a takeaway and it was still great after 20 mins - not too oily or soggy and worth the $7.20! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 1–10 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
