アルコールメニューは色々ありおすすめ。カクテルはこの辺りでは低価格。ビーチにも降りれるしPoolも楽しめる。

Walked to the Frog and Gecko to watch the Liverpool vs Palace match, having actually met the owners in another bar opposite my resort earlier that evening. They obviously rang the bar and told them I was coming, as the manager on duty asked if I was "Kai" and pointed me to a seat with a good view of the screens. By pure luck, I ended-up sat with the only other Palace fans in the pub (judging by the reactions to the goals, the majority of the other people in that night were there to support Liverpool - which is odd considering there wasn't a Scouse accent among the lot). Good prices for beers and the volume on the football was just right, meaning you could watch it but talk to the people near you without having to shout. Only thing stopping me from giving this 5 stars is that my bill came to just over 600 baht, put on paying with a 1000 baht note, I was given a 100 baht note and a few coins as my change. I knew it was wrong the moment I saw it but stupidly didn't say anything and only got a bit annoyed later in the evening when I recounted the story to the bar's owner (still drinking at the bar opposite my resort). He said it doesn't help anyone if their reputation gets ruined by mistakes from the staff that don't get challenged there and then - which is the only reason I mention it now in the hopes that the member of staff responsible pays more attention in future.
