Had the mixed green red chili fish. Flavour wise, it was not spicy if you can handle spice. Fish was enough for 4 pax if you have other dishes. Cold chicken was just ok, dont need to order. Love their fragrant big intestine - smelly enough but tastes good. Skewers wise, lamb was better than beef. Maybe can shorten cooking time as it was sliiiightly tough. Milk tea was nice too, tastes like those HK milk tea. Overall food wise, can come here for quick family meal. Not bad but not the best. Service wise, agree with other reviews. Waitress auntie damn fierce sia.. but she gets the job done. I went at 11am but felt like she was already in a bad mood. Asked if she can put the burner in the middle, but she stared into my eyes and soul and said "I will do it later. If I put it in the middle now, you gotta stand up and let me put down the fish." Relac ah. Dont so fierce. Just asking only. The male chef/waiter was very friendly.

FYI I passed by yesterday and saw that another restaurant has taken over the space. So Fu Qi has closed and I hope it has closed permanently. Everything was bad about my trip there a couple of months back - from the super reluctant service to the food (fish was fried, not grilled, and therefore it was hard). It’s amazing how their restaurant can be listed on a website, seemingly as a recommended place to go. Surely such writers would have gone to these places before recommending to readers? Enough said. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Today I went to Fu Qi grilled fish at Compass 1 outlet for lunch. When we will seated down, a lady came to take order. We didn’t order grill fish because we ate alot of time and wanted to try something different. So We ordered deep fried fish, stir fried beans, dumplings soup & 3 bowls of rice. She ask if that’s enough & her attitude is very bad. Just because we didn’t order grill fish, so she can give such bad attitude? This will be the last time I visit their outlet. Bad service attitude!
