I randomly discovered Fuji restaurant while walking around Phuket — and what a lucky find! I had no idea it would be this good. There’s actually another branch of this chain in Patong as well. I’m giving it a full 5 stars. The menu is huge — everything is displayed clearly inside refrigerated glass cases, which is a big plus. In Thailand it’s surprisingly common to see fish out in the open without cooling, but here — everything is properly stored and fresh. I’ve been to Japan, and I absolutely love Japanese food. And this place really impressed me: they have teriyaki, tempura, sushi, sashimi, salads, meat dishes, cold appetizers — you name it. Everything is pictured on the menu, so it’s easy to see exactly what you’re ordering. The only thing I’d point out — the ramen selection is a bit limited, only 3 types. But I ended up ordering a combo set for 350 baht and it was amazing: a thick, juicy piece of salmon, a fresh salad, warm soy roll, a bit of kimchi, a bowl of rice, and a great miso soup. That’s all for 350 baht (~9 euros)! Totally worth it. The miso soup was so good I said it three times — seriously delicious. The fish was high quality and cooked perfectly. Service was fast, food came quickly, and the place is very clean. I’m honestly planning to keep coming back here while I’m in Phuket. It’s one of those spots you can trust. I’m attaching some photos of the menu — see for yourself, it’s all there. Just note: they don’t serve alcohol, so no Asahi or sake here unfortunately. Highly, highly recommend this place.
