Late August, I went on a solo trip to Seoul and randomly walked into this sashimi place. Even though I don’t speak Korean, the staff and other customers kindly helped me order and showed me how to eat it. I tried jeoneo (gizzard shad) sashimi for the first time — firm and chewy, perfect with a cold beer. Since it’s a bony fish, they carefully removed the bones for me. The Korean way is to wrap it with fresh leaves and sliced pear, then dip it in either wasabi soy sauce or a sweet sauce. Such a warm and welcoming spot — I’m so glad I came here! 8月末日本からソウル1人旅。ぷらっと入ったソネ駅近くのお刺身屋さん。 韓国語が話せない私に、お客さんや店員さんが一生懸命注文や食べ方を教えてくれました。 初めて食べるコノシロは身に歯応えがあってビールとよく合います。骨が多い魚なので、しっかり骨を取ってもらいました。 葉とピールされた梨で巻いて、わさび醤油か甘ダレで食べるのが韓国流のようです。 とても温かいお店でした。 来て良かったです。.
