I like independent small restaurants. This one had a great selection on the menu of various flavors of ramen and rice. We had the ramen / fried pork cutlet rice combo; the agadashi tofu, gyoza, chicken and rice. The ramen / rice combo was great value. My companion said he would eat it again. The pork cutlet rice is the more notable one in terms of taste. The ramen broth was quite hi-hum. The chicken pieces with rice disappointed me not so much in terms of the taste. I wanted a healthier non fried option. Oyakodon in my experience is not usually fried. The celery after taste in fried chicken is also not up my alley. The fried tofu was ok. The batter was quite thick and the tofu if not the silken tofu but a more rough textured. I prefer a more thinner batter and more delicate tofu. I was too full to try the gyoza and we ended up taking a doggy bag. Not the most fabulous, but it has a good selection, decent taste. Price per person: NT$200–400 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
