The best foodstores that u should only try here are the fish soup store, the porridge store and especially the nasi lemak store. The cai fan store is not really that good.. and the indian muslim store has downgraded and is overpriced for the quality and sometimes portion of food. (can easily find better elsewhere) The chicken rice here has relatively long queues personally i think you can find better chicken rice elsewhere in yishun. (The porridge to me is almost as good as the Sin Heng Kee porridge, very good alternative for me and im happy to eat this anytime) Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SGD 1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great porridge and chicken rice stall, a staple of the hawker centre here. Chicken is always juicy and tasty, porridge is thick and filling (triple egg porridge feat. here). Seats can be hard to get at lunchtime. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SGD 1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Tried the Nasi Lemak - rice is fragrant, fish fillet is soft, chilli is on the sweet side, chicken wings a bit dry. Price is economical. Long queue; worth a try if you have cravings. The space there is cramp though and the smoking area is effectively indoors, making the place smokey. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: SGD 1–10 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
