Went to the restaurant without a reservation but i got my table quite quick on a Saturday evening. I ordered Wagyu beef and it really melted in my mouth, it reminded me of the wagyu i tried at Wolfgang puck steakhouse! The staff cooked all the meat for us, so we were able to enjoy the food at the best condition. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Used to be a huge fan of Go K, but unfortunately it seems like the standards have declined, both in terms of the food and the service. When we placed our order, we made an honest mistake and ordered the wrong set, forgetting there were separate pork and beef options for the different sets. The staff also didn't clarify whether we wanted the beef or pork set before processing the order. When the wrong set arrived, we accepted our mistake and paid for it as an à la carte order without making a fuss. To their credit, they also kindly changed the rest of the meat (which has yet to be served) to correct order, which we appreciated. What was disappointing, however, was overhearing a staff member complaining to another colleague that we "couldn't even place our order correctly." It felt unnecessary, especially since we had already acknowledged the mistake and were trying to resolve it amicably. Funny of them to make the comment of us not being able to make our orders correctly, the same staff member also forgot our seafood pancake order, and we only realized it much later and had to remind them to place it. There was also a small incident where we had placed a pair of chopsticks near the stove, and instead of simply handing them back or moving them politely, the staff member swept them away using the tongs she was using to grill the meat. It's disappointing because I genuinely enjoyed dining here in the past. The overall service left us feeling unwelcome. I'll definitely think twice before returning. I had not been into Korean BBQ until I was introduced to GO K BBQ! Staff are friendly and attentive and the food quality is great. Always a satisfying meal! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Recommended dishes: Kimchi Pancake, Japchae, Aged Pork Jowl
