Atmosphere is perfect. However,the food isn't. 1)The chicken waffle was so hard to bite in. They did offer to change a plate of sea bass for me after I told them how bad the chicken waffles was. 2) For the pork chop,there is a lot of tendons and fats in that small piece of meat. Lack of seasoning as well 3) The chicken burger patty was overcooked and tough to chew. For a $200+ meal,I expected more. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Pet-Friendly Vibes This is a very pet-friendly café/restaurant! They offer both indoor and outdoor dining, though it seems most pets are seated in the outdoor section. The Main Event: Handmade Pasta All the pasta here is handmade, and prices range from around $19 to $25 per dish. Pork Dishes (The Highlight): One of their main selling points is definitely their use of pork. We tried a good variety, and they do their pork dishes quite well! I really enjoyed the Guanciale Aglio Olio—the guanciale (pork cheek) slices were crispy, the fat was beautifully rendered, and the noodles were evenly coated. The garlic used really helped enhance the overall flavour. Vongole Clam Pasta: Made with tagliatelle, this dish had a powerful hit of wok hei that paired perfectly with the right ingredients. It makes for a really nice, garlicky briney clam pasta. Ragu Beef Mafaldine: The texture of the mafaldine was good: really chewy with nice, long pieces. It is also a very filling option! Chicken Pomodoro: This tomato-based dish was pretty decent. The chicken was well-seasoned and remained very juicy. Sides & Other Dishes Truffle Fries: Served in a generous portion and topped with parmesan cheese bits, this makes a fantastic sharing dish. The fries seem to be lightly battered, giving them a thin, extra-crispy outer layer over the potato strips. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

GRUB here in Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park boasts of a very nice ambiance regardless if you choose indoor or al fresco. The crews are also very helpful and very service oriented, special mention to Zaira who makes it a point that you are taken care of! Nice food, ambience and good service! Kudos to Grub Pasta Kitchen!
