Finally had dinner with the missus this evening at the newly open Upper Thomson branch. What can I say? Excellent, unpretentious French food at friendly prices. The Fine de Claire promo at $2.80 each was surely the Best Buy! Fresh and succulent with beautiful taste of the sea. French onion soup was a very rendition and is excellent too. The escargot which I added on later (greedy me) was okay but not fantastic. The mains were the highlights. Both the 12 hour slow cook pork belly and the salmon with herb crust were outstanding. They come with a generous sides of potato purée (some may call it mash but it's more a purée to me) and mesclun was so simple but so gloriously good. Thanks goodness they open this branch which is around my place. We'll be back soon. Keep up the good work!
PS: just one feedback. The AC can definitely be stronger!
