Waiting 3 hours for a table at Gatten Sushi might sound insane, but hear me out—it was worth it. We arrived around 4pm, put our names down on the waiting list, and finally got seated around 7pm. A 3-hour wait isn't something I'd normally sign up for, but since the restaurant is conveniently located inside Lotte World Mall, we spent the time shopping and exploring. I've been to a few conveyor-belt sushi places lately, and I have to say Gatten Sushi tops the list. What sets it apart is the combination of freshness and reasonable pricing. Every piece of sushi that rolled by on the conveyor belt looked tempting and tasted just as good. Pro tip: Don't limit yourself to what's on the conveyor belt. We ordered several plates directly from the sushi chef or a staff, and not only were they superb, they were served promptly as well. We had a great experience. We'll definitely be back, and hopefully, we won't have to camp out for three hours next time.
