whoever is managing this outlet , i say it once that the service is bad. monitor your staff. the signal was bad so i couldn’t order via the qr code but when i asked the staff if i could just order through her. she said “ try different tables “ but when asked why , she said “ we preferred not to “. you’re telling me that you only have ONE customer in this outlet and you cant even be understanding enough to just take my order due to the poor signal ? i recommend not coming here cause even the food served looked horrible.

Ordered Brownie Heaven. See the difference between the advertised and the actual ice cream being served! Order via QR code. Item are hard to find and payment not seamless. Won’t come again

I went to Gelare at Northpoint mall on 15 May 2026 at night. I ordered the chocolate chip waffle with two ice creams, peanut butter and chocolate chip. We waited for around 30-40 minutes which was totally understandable since it was a busy night anyways. The staffs were working hard and vibing to the music they were playing. What i thought was going to be great night took a quick turn when the food came out. Utensils given was some metal and some plastic which the staff pointed out there were shortage of metal utensils. Chocolate chip waffle after my friend and I took a small bite tasted very salty. The bad aftertaste lingered in my mouth even after we drank water. It was really unexpected and unpleasant. We quickly brought it up to the male staff and asked if anything could be done, the staff replied he would rectify with his boss. After he went back to the kitchen, i assumed he told his other female staff about what happened. The female staff expression quickly changed to sour and was giving rude stares. The male staff after clarifying with his boss returned and said there was “nothing they could do” because apparently no one else had complained before. That response was honestly frustrating — customer feedback should matter regardless of whether others have said the same thing or not. We were not expecting a full refund but perhaps offer an alternative but maybe the staffs lacked the training to deal with this kind of situation. What made it worse was that there wasn’t even a simple apology. No “sorry” for the bad experience, just dismissal and bad attitude. It felt very unprofessional and showed a lack of basic customer service. Eventually, we as the customer had to find alternative as the male staff initially wanted to return the cold bad food back to us, which really lacked common sense. We eventually traded off our awful meal with three scopes of ice cream. The rest of our time there was filled awkward and cold stares. Definitely not a pleasant experience, and sadly not a place I’d recommend.
