The flat whites were way too bitter and not balanced at all. One cup was even more bitter than the other. V unsatisfactory for $6 per cup when nearby cafes are cheaper. They should tweak their recipe or offer only latte / iced espresso drinks. Maybe their kopi is better. They also ran out of eggs before noon on a Saturday and service was v slow despite few customers. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Loveliest robusta coffee in the area. The traditional breakfast set is a highlight: fluffy shokupan toast with generous kaya and butter, plus soft-boiled eggs that are elevated with a nice twist of crispy shallots. I’m not a coffee person but I appreciated how they take classic Nanyang flavours and give them a slightly modern, more refined touch without losing authenticity. The sourdough kaya toast and Spanish latte are both worth trying if you want something a bit different. Genista Ln also brings a refreshing concept to Singapore, inspired by the fast-paced, street-side coffee culture you’d find in Vietnam with their drive thru road side concept.
