"I had high expectations since this place received a Michelin Guide Green Star, but it was absolutely perfect beyond words. I heard that most of the vegetables and herbs used in the dishes are grown directly at the chef's family farm. Maybe that’s why the natural freshness and aroma of the ingredients felt like they were bursting in my mouth. I don't usually enjoy vegetables that much, but here, even the greens were truly delicious.The scallop and sweet shrimp dishes, in particular, offered a wonderfully fresh harmony of textures and herbal notes, while the duck and lobster were also stunningly excellent. The dessert at the end of the course was refreshing and crisp, making it the perfect finale.The ambiance of the restaurant beautifully incorporated elements of stone and wood, making me feel as if I were deep in a forest right in the middle of the city. The wine pairing was superb, and the staff's meticulous service made me feel genuinely pampered. I highly recommend it! I am definitely planning to revisit for my next special occasion.". Our first visit to GIGAS. I had vegetarian meal and my husband had a regular meal with wine pairing. Excellent service. Unique display of plates. Very healthy farm to table. Only negative is the location. Difficult to find. But staff was very nice they walked with us to the main road so we could walk to our hotel. Thank you very much. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Gigas is an absolute must-visit for me every single time I’m in Seoul! I used to go when they were located near Dosan Park, but I honestly love their new spot in Hoehyeon even more. It’s inside the Piknic building, surrounded by lush greenery with an incredible view of Namsan Tower—it honestly feels like a mini getaway right in the middle of the city.
