誕生日に初めて伺いました。 入口からとても清潔で、凛とした心地よい空気感。 サービスも細やかで、人気店である理由がすぐに分かりました。 蟹の美味しさはもちろん、鯛茶漬けは今でも忘れられません。 お誕生日プレートが黒蜜のところてんだったのも印象的で、 手書きのメッセージカードまで添えてくださり、 温かいお気持ちが心に残る時間となりました。 また特別な日に伺いたいお店です。. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥10,000+

I have been visiting 銀座うち山 for over 10 years, and it remains one of my most cherished dining experiences in Tokyo. Even after moving to London eight years ago, I make a point to return every year — it is always one of the highlights of my time back in Japan. From the moment you step in, the atmosphere is quietly refined. The way the team welcomes guests, and even walks you out at the end, reflects a deep sense of traditional hospitality. I have always loved their beautiful presentation — each dish feels like a piece of seasonal art. The appetiser tofu dish, in particular, is something I look forward to every time. I noticed some reviews mentioning a lack of interaction, which feels like an unfair way to judge this kind of restaurant. As in many high-end establishments around the world, the chef is an artisan. I would not expect overt entertainment. Instead, what I truly appreciate is the subtle attentiveness — the way the chef and staff are careful not to interrupt conversations, while quietly observing and understanding their guests. To me, that is genuine hospitality. What continues to impress me most is the seasonality of the menu. Every visit brings something new, thoughtfully prepared with great care and sensitivity. A place I return to again and again — and one I highly recommend to anyone seeking an authentic and deeply refined Japanese dining experience.
