Ordered 7-course tasting menu, most were deep fried, cant believe our eyes when we saw our food microwaved. Lala soup had one taste - bland, cabbage wrap - tasted more chinese than japanese, and egg ikura in truffle sauce.. for real? not everything turns to gold in truffle sauce. Ala carte: octopus tasted chinese, pasta mentaiko tasted average (and instant), sashimi was not fresh. Spent more than $100 per person for such average quality, had the feeling of being rip-off. Dissapointing experience in supporting uprising chefs in sg, hope chef could reflect and improve food quality. if you need detailed feedback to improve, PM me and im happy to help.

Great value for money and wide selection. Ask friendly staff for specials and house infusions. Creative and very afforadable tasting menu that starts from $39 for 5 courses!! This place is a hole in the wall gem! their sister outlet is awsome too. we had to try both in our first visit and it never fails to dissapoint at all!

No better place to have comfort Japanese food done with absolute care. Ingredients must be masterly prepared or aged, because we taste the difference in the simplest of raw food ie a well brined scallop it aged buri... Let’s not talk about drinks, too many to choose and still learning.
