Rating: 4.5 / 5 Goobne in Tung Chung is our go-to spot whenever we have a craving for Korean chicken! We order here at least once a month - either for dine-in or takeaway and we always get the Gochoo Basasak chicken. Because it’s oven-roasted rather than deep-fried, it feels like a much healthier, guilt-free option without losing any texture. The skin is amazingly crispy, and the chicken inside is super juicy with the flavor totally on point. One portion is the perfect size for two people. I’ve tried a few other items on the menu over time and found them fairly average, but the Gochoo Basasak alone makes this place worth it. 100% recommended for anyone craving great Korean chicken! Gobne, a well-known brand, is available in various countries. We tried some of their chicken dishes, but they didn’t quite meet our expectations. The chicken could have been better prepared, and the sauce wasn’t that nice with the chicken which affected the overall taste. Perhaps we chose the wrong dish from the menu. The kimchi soup, on the other hand, was decent. Overall, the chicken dishes weren’t memorable enough to entice us to return. While they offer a healthier option, they lack in taste and preparation.
