世界一稼ぐイギリスのシェフ、ゴードンラムゼイのレストランがICONSIAMにあったので、寄ってみた。BREAD STREETはシンガポールのマリーナベイサンズとかにもあるが、バンコクでは初めて寄った。 本当は彼のsignatureパイ包を食べたかったが、日曜だけのメニューのローストビーフを楽しんだ。これが正解で美味かった。 前菜は、スパイシーサーモン。デザートもイギリスっぽいオーダーにした。ICONSIAMの中は、タイ料理や日本食の店が多いから、イギリス料理はナイスな差別化。. Why am I giving this review? The restaurant’s servers are all incredibly nice. However, one of their male managers, a local Thai man, came across as rather snobbish. I had lunch here two days in a row. I didn’t see this manager on the first day. On the second day, I ordered a fish dish, a salad and sparkling water, dining alone. Since I was on holiday, I didn’t rush to leave right after finishing my meal. I also ordered an Americano. After I finished the coffee, I was scrolling on my phone. Seeing that I had no intention of leaving, he came over and rushed me to vacate the table. This experience made me really upset. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Brunch Price per person: ฿1,400–1,600

Really cannot fault the place. I finally got to try the mythical beef wellington. What an absolute treat. Honey glazed carrots were spot on too. Could not ask for better food. And I even got a sticky toffee pudding for my birthday. Beautiful restaurant too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ฿2,000+
