Gordon Ramsay Plane Food To Go is a quick service spot inside Hong Kong Airport that trades on the celebrity chef name and delivers an experience that lands somewhere between genuinely solid airport food and a price point that requires some mental adjustment before you order. For an airport setting the food quality holds up better than most comparable options in the terminal. The fish and chips is the standout order and the most consistent item on the menu. The batter comes out crispy and the fish inside stays soft and freshly cooked, served with tartar sauce and a lemon wedge that rounds it out properly. It is the kind of dish that travels well as a quick meal before departure and represents the better side of what the kitchen puts out. The lasagna is another solid option if you want something more substantial and warming, and the salads round out the lighter side of the menu for those who want something less heavy before a flight.
