Normally I don’t like leaving low ratings unless a place is really bad or dirty, but for this place I’ll give 2 stars because the staff were actually very nice and polite. The main issue is that the food quality really doesn’t match the price. We already knew this restaurant was expensive before going in, but we chose it because when a place charges this much, you naturally expect better quality. Especially since it’s more of a trendy café/restaurant with a premium image, not just a small local noodle shop. We ordered several dishes that day, but sadly the noodle dishes were the most disappointing. First, the menu was honestly confusing. You can choose pork or beef, but the way the prices are shown makes it very easy to misunderstand. We thought we were ordering based on the listed price, but later found out the beef version was much more expensive. If the food tasted amazing, maybe that would be easier to accept. But unfortunately the noodles were below average. The soup with coconut milk tasted very off, and the beef balls tasted cheap and low quality, which really didn’t fit the restaurant’s pricing or image. The mango sticky rice was also disappointing. The sticky rice felt like it had been reheated in a microwave — wet, mushy, and not fragrant at all. Definitely not worth the price. The grilled beef was okay though. Expensive, but at least the taste was decent. Overall, it just felt like the quality didn’t match the pricing or expectations the restaurant creates with its branding and atmosphere. Honestly sad that this ended up being our last meal before leaving Thailand. I actually chose this place because I told my family, “Hey, this place should be really good.” So when everyone ended up disappointed, it honestly made me feel pretty embarrassed too.
