This was my second time at Grissini, celebrating my mum’s birthday over lunch. We ordered the 2-course and 4-course set menus. Mum had a great time with the signature breadsticks, and I loved the rich, thick balsamic vinegar served alongside them. Jennifer took care of us during our meal — she was warm, welcoming, and surprised my mum with a chocolate birthday cake, even offering to take photos of us with the birthday card. My mum was absolutely thrilled! As for the food, we had the pleasure of trying four different starters. While all of them were delicious, the squid was the absolute standout. The thin slices offered the perfect balance of tenderness and chewiness, pairing brilliantly with the salmon roe and dill. Both pasta dishes easily met our expectations, though the lobster pasta was my favorite thanks to its fresh, slightly sweet cherry tomato sauce. The steak was cooked to a flawless medium-rare and went beautifully with a glass of Primitivo. By the end, we were completely full — yet still surprised by the lovely dessert spread! Another staff member (a manager, I believe) provided fantastic wine recommendations and seamless service throughout. Everything was spot on, and we will definitely be back real soon!
