I live I. Sheung Wan so this is usually my go to spot because they have western healthy food. I order the same meal each time I go there, English breakfast with additional avocado. I noticed that they would forget to put in some ingredients on my plate but this became a recurring thing. I informed them one time they forgot to put the salon on my meal and that this is not an isolated incident . The cashier spoke with her colleagues in Chinese instead about the matter and said nothing to me in return. Today the same thing occurred. I ordered the same meal and this time there was no quinoa, you could literally count the grains of quinoa that was on my plate. I raised my concern and the Philippino lady who was the only one that could speak English handled the situation very poorly. They kept patronising me to say the quinoa is on the plate and I told them you can literally count the grains there is barely any quinoa. She grabbed the plate and aggressively added a spoon of quinoa and she said “there, happy?” I asked her why she spoke in that tone with me, instead of apologizing for the mistake and rectifying the situation politely. I requested to speak to her manager who cannot speak English. They were smirking in my presence and when I expressed my distraction the phillipino waitress gave the most sarcastic apology. I asked her does she treat other Asian or white customers the way she has treated me and she responded that she’s busy. I asked the manager why is wasn’t intervening when she could clearly see that there is a situation going on. I’m extremely disappointed with the treatment I recieved here and as a matter of fact I will never eat at this place again. In the past, I had to wait a long time to order takeout, and it was difficult to get repeat customers. I did it today, and the results were normal!
